The two companies have signed a partnership to develop projects in the sports sector, with the first focusing on the growth of the Danish club.
NSN has taken a significant step in its growth strategy in the sports and entertainment world by allying with Stoneweg to develop sports-related projects. The first of these will involve FC Helsingør, a club competing in Denmark’s Second Division. From now on, NSN and Stoneweg will work alongside the FC Helsingør management team to drive the club’s growth across all areas and enhance the development of young players through the club’s academy.
The partnership with FC Helsingør marks the first major joint project between NSN and Stoneweg. Jaume Sabater, founder of this Spanish-Swiss investment platform, and our co-founder, Andrés Iniesta, visited Denmark to attend a match of the Danish team and begin developing the club’s management, with Bo Bay Hougaard continuing as CEO.
Founded in 2005, FC Helsingør is located in the city of the same name, 40 km north of Copenhagen. Although a relatively young club, it has had a remarkable trajectory in Danish football over its 18-year history and reached the top tier, the Danish Superliga, in 2017. Currently, the coach is Pep Alomar from Mallorca, and the sports director is Quim Ramón, a coach with extensive experience in the lower divisions of FC Barcelona.
