Big success of the first edition of acb BEATS with Lola Índigo’s show in Malaga

Thousands of people danced to the rhythm of the Granada artist at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Malaga

Lola Índigo made the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Malaga vibrate this past Sunday, February 11, with an exciting show full of surprises. The Granada artist took charge of kicking off the 2024 Copa del Rey in an event organized by NSN and acb that welcomed over 5,000 people. Some Unicaja Baloncesto players like Yankuba Sima, Jonathan Barreiro, or Alberto Díaz didn’t want to miss this spectacle.

Under the acb BEATS concept, a completely thrilling day unfolded, starting with DJ Hektor Mass warming up and getting everyone on their feet. After performing at festivals like Tomorrowland, Mass chose the Martín Carpena to continue proving that music can take you far. Right after came Lola Índigo, who surprised us by emerging from a “dragon egg,” reminiscent of “El Dragón Tour,” the artist’s third tour.

To the beats of “El tonto” or “La tirita,” Índigo made the inaugural leap of this year’s Copa del Rey. A leap that, undoubtedly, will go down in history for showcasing the emotion and effort behind music, but also behind basketball. The Granada singer and dancer, who began to succeed after appearing on the talent show Operación Triunfo in 2017, invited one of the current edition’s contestants, Salma, to the stage, allowing her to sing in her homeland.

From NSN, we are thrilled to have been part of such an incredible project as the one experienced at the Martín Carpena in Malaga alongside ACB. Together with Lola Índigo, we have once again shown that music breaks barriers, and that entertainment and sports together are stronger. We will continue to give our all to ensure this remains true.
