The Sevillistas will play two matches in the Land of the Rising Sun, the first against Consadole Sapporo and the second against Sagan Tosu.
From NSN, we are proud to announce that we have organized two friendly matches that Sevilla FC will play in Japan. The seven-time Europa League winners will have their first match against Consadole Sapporo in the north of the country, while the second match will be played in the south, against Sagan Tosu. The matches, which were initially scheduled for the summer of 2024, have been postponed and will be played in the coming months.
This will not only be a great opportunity for the red-and-whites, but the J-League clubs will also have an unforgettable experience. For Consadole Sapporo, this will be their first major international match, while Sagan Tosu will face a Spanish club again after having played against Atlético de Madrid in 2015.
The tour is supported by the Government of Sapporo, the Sapporo Dome, the Hokkaido Football Association, the city of Tosu, and the Saga Football Association. They have joined forces to promote sport and culture in both regions and show the rest of the nation and the world that both cities can be prime locations for hosting major sporting events and generating new opportunities outside of Tokyo.
After organizing the match between FC Barcelona and Vissel Kobe in 2023, and Inter Miami’s international preseason tour earlier this year, we at NSN continue to demonstrate our capability and extensive experience in organizing friendlies on Japanese soil. This time, we are doing it again by bringing the best of football to different cities across the country, allowing the excitement of this sport to reach new horizons.
